We’ve had two great days in Kras, both with the boys and out exploring. At the orphanage we’ve had lots of fun with the jumper, wheel barrels and rakes. The boys loved to garden, so hopefully they will be right out there with us on the weekends. Stasi hates the bugs, but loves to find worms. He holds them like a precious jewel and calls them baby. As long as they stay out of the house, I’m good with that. He had to take his baby worm over to the caregivers, to dada, and to Sasha and show everyone his prize. Sasha is quite the clown, and it’s fun to see his silliness come out more and more each day. He doesn’t cry anymore when we hand him back to his caregivers at the end of our visit, but he will vigorously shake his head no. Both freely offer us hugs and kisses now during our two hour visits and we play a family game of chase with one parent being “it” and the other parent being “safe”. The one of us who is “safe” gets tackled by two little boys running at full force to the safety our arms. Andy and I love this game as much as they do.

During our explorations of Kras we have discovered an open market for both food and clothing. Every kind of animal part was out on a counter or hanging from a wire. I wanted to throw up! Andy thought it was pretty cool. We found cheaper prices for souvenirs and a desperately needed umbrella. There have been thunder storms off and on the past 4 days. We also bought some indoor toys since we could be stuck in the hotel with the boys. The weather turns pretty quickly here so you just never know. Tomorrow night, Friday, we move from our shoebox of a room to a bigger room, since starting Saturday we’ll have 4 of us packed in like sardines. I am sure once we add the crib for Sasha any hotel room will feel small. They say it’s a suite, but we have a feeling our definition of suite and there’s will be somewhat different. We need to make one final run to the grocery store for food for the boys and diapers for Sasha, and then we will be officially ready for the mayhem and madness! We can’t wait!

Even if you guys are doing sardine imitations, they will be happy, cozy ones. I say...wiggle away. ;)
